Privacy policy.

Parapluie Studio is a photography studio based at Sacré Cœur St, Brasilia Baabda, Lebanon. For the purposes of this policy, Parapluie Studio is the data controller for any personal information collected through our website, our booking process, our model casting roster, or our day to day studio operations. The studio is owned and operated by Fatema Chamass.

We collect only what we need to do our work. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include your name, phone number, email address, location, age, the date and details of a session you have booked, photos and videos you submit for casting, payment details for completed sessions, and any messages you send us through WhatsApp, email, or our contact form. We do not collect identification documents, financial account numbers, or sensitive health information unless legally required.

Information is collected directly from you, in three main ways. Through forms on this website (contact, booking, casting), through messages you send us on WhatsApp, email, or social media, and through information you share in person at the studio. We do not buy contact lists or scrape data from third parties.

Personal information is collected to schedule your session, to keep you informed about it, to deliver your photos, to assess casting submissions against planned shoots, to issue receipts, and to reply to any question you ask us. We do not use your data for purposes other than the one you reasonably expect when you give it.

Your data is used by the studio team to plan, deliver, and follow up on your session. We may also use anonymised information about traffic and engagement to understand how the website is used. We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with marketing partners. If we ever introduce a newsletter, signing up will be entirely optional and unsubscribing will be one click.

We share your information only when strictly necessary, with a small number of trusted services that help us run the studio. This includes Google Drive for delivering your photos, Whish Money or our payment processor for completing transactions, our hosting and email providers for operating the website and handling enquiries, and Cloudflare Turnstile for protecting online forms from spam. Google Maps and Google Fonts are loaded from Google when you view pages that use them. If you opt in to optional analytics, Google Analytics 4 also receives the limited visit information described below. Each of these only sees the minimum information needed to do its part. We never share your data with advertisers, social media platforms for tracking, or unrelated third parties.

Photos and videos are sensitive personal data and we treat them as such. Casting submissions are stored privately, only seen by the studio team, not shared with other casting clients or published as a public profile, and never published anywhere without your written consent. Image ownership and permitted uses follow the terms of your chosen service, and we will always ask before featuring you on our portfolio or social channels. If you would prefer that your session photos never appear publicly, tell us at booking and we will respect that without question.

We use essential storage to operate the website and remember your privacy choice. With your permission, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand which public pages are visited and which enquiry buttons are used. Analytics is optional and does not load until you choose “Accept analytics”. Choose “Essential only” to decline, or use “Analytics preferences” to change your choice.

Optional analytics sends Google limited visit information, such as an approved public page address without its query or fragment, a fixed page label, and enquiry-button click counts. Google also processes technical connection data when analytics loads. We do not send form contents, WhatsApp draft messages, names, phone numbers, email addresses, financial information or authenticated workspace activity. An enquiry-button click is not a confirmed booking. Advertising features and personalization are disabled.

Website submissions are stored outside the public website directory, with uploaded files unavailable through public website links. Necessary service providers may also process data as described above. Casting submissions and session photos are kept on protected drives that only the studio team can access. We retain personal information for as long as it is needed to fulfil our work for you, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return for another session. We do not store payment card numbers ourselves, payments are processed by our provider.

You have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to correct anything inaccurate, to ask us to delete your data, and to ask us to stop using it. You can exercise any of these rights by sending a message to info@parapluie.com.lb or on WhatsApp. We will respond within 30 days, usually much sooner. If you applied to our model casting and want your submission removed, a single WhatsApp message is enough.

We work regularly with children for family and children’s portrait sessions, and we take the privacy of minors seriously. Personal information about children is only ever collected from a parent or legal guardian. Children’s photos from sessions are not posted publicly without explicit parental consent. Casting submissions on behalf of minors require a guardian to apply, and the same protections apply to their data and photos.

We may update this policy from time to time, especially as the studio grows or new tools are introduced. The latest version will always live at this URL with an updated date in the panel above. If a change is significant enough to affect how we handle your data, we will let active clients know directly. Continuing to use the studio or website after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

For any question, request, or concern about your privacy and the data we hold, reach out directly. We respond to enquiries within one hour during business hours, Monday to Saturday, 11 AM to 5 PM.
